How to upload photos to IJC Gallery
Steps to upload photos to IJC Gallery
REMEMBER: the filename of the photo cannot have the punctuation mark "." in it.
- Connect to the IJC Gallery server (you need a FTP client like Filezilla which is a freeware)
a. User your FTP client to connect to ftp://gallery.ijc.hk
b. When prompt, input the username and password to login (username & password can be obtained from Administration Officers)
- Copy the photos to the server
a. Open a new folder in the server with any name you like
b. Copy your photos to that newly created folder
- Open your browser and go to http://gallery.ijc.hk/admin/
Login with the supplied username and password
- After login, click the [Import] button, then click the name of the folder you created.
- A list of all uploaded photos will be there. Either choose an “Existing Album” or “Create a New Album” by typing a New Album Name and select the appropriate Collection, then click the [Import] button.
